Having always been inspired by Alphonse Mucha’s Art Nouveau posters, it’s been since the 2014 Primavera Sound in Barcelona that I developed an enthusiasm for illustrated posters made with various techniques : giclé, screen print, offset and others methods. Heavily influenced by the collage artworks from Barcelona’s Cartelistas such as Error! Design or Branca Studio, I slowly developed a preference for this medium where the codes can be deflected or respected, and where the illustration duels with typography, information and layout, all the while achieving harmony.
Should it be in a tour context or unique show, for a music festival or other arts forms, I’ll explore with you the possibilities, and the graphical and aesthetic influences which will suit your project and ideas the most. This with the primary objective of keeping a strong, singular and outstanding visual identity, where the atmosphere and the information will be put forth distinctly.
